Caligo Safe Wash Relief Printing Inks

Professional quality oil-based ink for block printing on paper. Artist quality made using vegetable oils so can be cleaned up with soap and water rather than solvents. These inks contain high-quality pigments rather than dyes so offer excellent light-fastness. Colours can be intermixed. We stock the full range in 75ml and 150ml tubes and selected colours in 500g and 1kg tins. Please note that Ultramarine is only available in tins due to the pigment reacting to the metal tube. Tins are best suited for printmakers who will more ink regularly as they can skin over over time.  The new soft shades - Sage Green, Mustard Yellow, Powder Blue, Peach, Pale Violet and Soft Pink - are available in 75ml tubes.
