Flash-Vent SS is designed with a flexible 2 mil sheet of Type 304 stainless steel laminated to a polymer fabric and drainage fabric on the opposite side. This high-performance flashing material is ideal for cavity wall flashing, foundation sill flashing, flexible flashing, head and sill flashing, and thru-wall flashing. Another option is lapping the flashing a minimum of 6" and coating the contacting surfaces with an approved sealant. Using an interlocking lap per manufacturer’s detail is also acceptable with the use of an approved sealant. All edges must be sealed.
