Duke Taupe W. Bill Cavalry Twill Trousers

Our Duke Taupe W. Bill Cavalry Twill Trousers are made from a heavyweight 600 g pure wool cloth woven in the UK by W. Bill. Cavalry twill is a sturdy, hard-wearing fabric, recognised by its steep double-diagonal weave and closely paired wales. Originally associated with military uniforms and equestrian dress, it has since become a staple of smart country and weekend wardrobes. The versatile taupe shade works particularly well with navy, dark green and burgundy. Pair the trousers with a dark green jumper and suede chukka boots for a relaxed outfit, or with a navy jacket and burgundy knitted tie for smarter occasions. These trousers come in our Duke fit, a single-pleat style with a fuller cut. They feature side-adjusters and are made in Italy. They arrive unfinished at approximately 96 cm in length, ready to be hemmed to your ideal length by your local tailor.  The model in the video is 186CM / 6' 1", and he wears a size 32 in all Kit Blake trousers, finished with a 32' inseam. 100% wool cavalry twill from W. It is a good option for more conservative settings or for those new to pleated trousers. The pleat is outward-facing, and the cut sits between the Aleks and the Grant, with slightly less volume through the front. We recommend wearing it with a two-inch turn-up, though this is down to personal preference. All trousers are delivered unfinished, ready to be altered to your desired length.
