Original Cleveland Stadium Seat

c. 1930s; American Seating Company - Grand Rapids, MI Vintage original seat "H" from the 1932-1993 incarnation of the Indians' (now Guardians) home field. This piece was manufactured for the multi-purpose Cleveland Stadium (also known as Municipal Stadium, Lakefront Stadium, or Cleveland Municipal Stadium), best remembered as the home of the Cleveland Indians until its demolition in 1996. The seat was designed and manufactured by American Seating Co., a company known for their durable and functional stadium seating. It features wooden construction set in a painted cast iron frame. The seat has been affixed to a wooden plaque.
