In Sydney, it seems as though every restaurant has a custom-built, wood-fired oven or smoker worth the GDP of a small country, every hipster is busy singeing his beard over a fire pit somewhere, all craft beers must be flavoured with something smoked and if we see another food series or cook book about fire we’ll go bonkers.
