TCB Jeans Late S40's Fit One Wash 13.5oz

TCB is a Japanese brand inspired by fits and materials from the past and they strive to reproduce those iconic garments as closely as possible. This is a new addition from TCB, the Late s40's jeans are made out of a 13.5oz cotton selvedge fabric. The hight of the waist is "normal", meaning not as high as the S40 Model. The seat and thigh are full and the leg straight. Making these more similar to TCB's classic 50's jeans. This pair of jeans are inspired by the war time jeans, the S501XX model made by Levi's in the 40s. The war's need for materials led to restrictions on what could be used for manufacturing, which led to a cleaner and simpler design on the jeans from this time. It is made with details such as hidden back pocket rivets and the so called V-stitch behind the top button. The japanese selvage fabric used in this garment is loomed to be as close to the fabrics specs from that time as possible.TCB produces their garments in their own factory. TCB's combination of great knowledge when it comes to vintage garments and a collection of old vintage machines makes this pair of jeans great in every detail. The jeans are pre-washed so they wont shrink when worn. You can expect them to expand slightly when you wear them. Due to the nature of the fabric all these jeans have a strong leg-twist, just as the original vintage jeans back in the days. TCB uses right hand denim just like Levis did and that makes the legs twist in the right direction. Dan is 188 cm tall, weighs 84 kilos and wears a size W36. These run very small. Hemming is always included when you purchase a pair of jeans from us!
