The Checkerboard Shirt-Curtain

A delicate illusion, a soft play on perception—Sarah’s Shirt Curtains transform windows into poetic compositions. With subtle details that mimic the structure of a finely tailored shirt, they create the impression of garments suspended in light, blurring the boundary between fashion and interior design. First unveiled in A Well-Dressed Apartment exhibition, this creation invites a new way of seeing, where dressing a space becomes as intentional and elegant as dressing oneself. The checkerboard details are made with natural and indigo-dyed fabric squares, directly sewn on the fabric. They create a beautiful mix of opacity and transparency. Length can be adjusted from 200 to 300cm / 79 to 118in.- French fabric: Blend of 60% organic GOTS cotton, 40% hemp. - Timeless brown buttons.- Opacity: Light.
