It is not common to find a female-led coffee farm in this region, making her story particularly inspiring.   Magdalena produces exceptional coffee at El Cacao that reflects the unique environmental conditions of the region combined with an exceptional commitment to coffee production. Ideal for those who love clarity, gentle complexity, and elegant acidity. Geisha is a challenging varietal to grow. Thriving at high altitudes, it’s low-yielding and delicate. Its leaves are much thinner than those of other coffee varieties, making photosynthesis less efficient, while its weaker root system reduces water and energy intake.
