Ube Powder

Ube powder is a vibrant purple-colour, which is a type of purple yam that is native to Southeast Asia, particularly the Philippines. Ube is known for its naturally purple color and distinct flavour, which is often described as sweet, nutty, and slightly floral. Ube powder is a versatile ingredient that is used in both sweet and savoury dishes. In Filipino cuisine, it is often used in desserts, such as cakes, cookies, pastries, and ice cream. Ube powder can also be used to make ube halaya, a popular Filipino dessert made from mashed ube yams cooked with coconut milk and sugar. Our favourite use for ube is our signature Ube Doo Latte, frothing 1 tea spoon of ube in 250ml of coconut milk.  Children and adults alike just love it. Whisk or stir to dissolve 5. Add frothed milk or milk alternative for tea lattes or top with hot water
