Brand New TSDZ16 Torque Mid Drive Kits In the pass 3 months, Varstrom has been working with TongSheng for customizing a 48V 1000W mid drive motor with torque sensor and cadence sensors. A custom-made TSDZ 16 is created. Compare to TSDZ8, TSDZ16 add 1.5mm more space for the bottom bracket. The Max torque for TSDZ16 is 160N.m, top speed will reach to 60km/h. New structural design, TSDZ16's gear ratio is 22, but the mechanical efficiency of the motor is higher than 82%. All upgraded designs are to make the TSDZ16 load test curve more stable. Run On 1000W for 40 Mins The housing of TSDZ16 has more and taller heat sinks, which allows the motor to be exposed to more high-speed air during high-power driving, cooling the motor and allowing customers to drive at high power for longer periods of time. Support continunous high-power operation for about 40 minutes. Bottom Bracket Size Measurement Comfirming the frame size can help customers determine whether the product can be installed. The basic requirements are that the bottom bracket width should be either 68mm or 73mm, and the bottom bracket diameter should be above 33.5mm.  The space between the motor axis and the motor is 12mm (includes the tube for the gear shifter). There should be no obstruction in the 60mm direction from the axis of the bottom bracket to the chainstay direction. However, we also provide 2 washers in case the customer's chainstay just touches the motor. More Installation Secret You will get more customize ideal on TSDZ16, we add 2 top fixing screw holes for your DIY project. Updated the fixing method, the bottom fixing bracket is the latest design of TSDZ16. As other mid drive conversion motor, 73mm screws and 2 washers (spacers) are included. If you need them, you can buy them on the variants. Different from the Varstrom Bafang motor kit, Varstrom doesn't provide a crank removal tool for this conversion kit. If customers need a crank removal tool, they should purchase it separately. Brake System Options Varstrom offers 2 brake system power - off options for customers. If you're using a hydraulic brake system, Varstrom recommends you choose Hydraulic Brake Sensors. If you have a mechanical brake system, Varstrom suggests you choose Brake Levers.
