This Squier Vintage Modified Mustang electric guitar is amazingly fun to play and sounds great - it's loaded with two Duncan Designed Mustang Single Coil pickups. These, coupled with the phase switches and controls, make this great fun to play whether you're into the 'stang for Nirvana or surf or whatever. Adding in fuzz, chorus or your favorite pedals will just double it - this VM Mustang is a blast to play. Our luthiers provide a free set up too, so you know the floating bridge and dynamic vibrato tailpiece will be set up just right too. The build on this is really nice, with a very smooth, C shaped Maple neck, with a 9.5" radius and a shorter 24" overall scale length. The Basswood, slab style Mustang body has a gloss poly, classic Fiesta Red finish accented with a 4, yes 4-ply pickguard. You've got a 1.650" nutwidth with Medium Jumbo frets too, so despite the light weight and diminutive size, you've got plenty of neck to dig into to here.
