Hojicha - Roasted Green Tea

Roasted green tea (hojicha ほうじ茶 or houjicha) has less caffeine than steamed green tea. Based on how the tea is roasted (temperature, duration, etc.), we retained more catechin than other hojicha in the market. Freshly harvested premium quality green tea is roasted carefully in porcelain over charcoal for maximum flavor.  Hojicha has lower caffeine and is less bitter than other tea, so it is good to take at night for relaxation.  Because of the low level of caffeine and gentle taste, it is a safe and nutritious tea for kids and pregnant women.
