You must transfer your original USDM intake manifold, exhaust manifolds, sensors (Crank/Cam), and wiring harness. Oil Cooler Note: Some Highlander models come with an external oil cooler. If your original engine has one, ensure you swap the oil filter housing/cooler assembly to this JDM block. (Secondary Oil Pan May Need To Be Swapped) Emissions & Vacuum: Use your original USDM throttle body and vacuum lines to maintain factory emissions standards and ensure proper idle relearn. Essential Maintenance (Pre-Install): Water Pump: This is a known service item on the 2GR-FE; it is much easier to replace while the engine is out.
