Use small masking tape pieces to hold in place and test fit.     Step 3: Apply Overlay   Peel the backing without stretching the vinyl. Apply from one side, smoothing with a squeegee or microfiber-covered finger. Press firmly to eliminate air pockets.     Step 4: Heat & Seal   Gently heat with a heat gun or blow dryer to soften the vinyl. Work the edges and curves for a tight, finished look. Remove any last bubbles with light pressure.     Wet Application Method   Step 2: Make Application Fluid   • Mix a few drops of dish soap in a spray bottle of water. • Lightly mist both the taillight and adhesive side of the overlay.   Step 3: Position Overlay   Peel the backing and spray the adhesive side. Place overlay on the taillight and adjust as needed.     Step 4: Apply & Set   Squeegee from center outward to remove bubbles and water. Continue smoothing until secure and flush.     Step 5: Final Seal   Let sit for 15–20 minutes. Warm gently to activate adhesive and finalize the bond. Press edges for a clean finish.
