Cheyenne's Safety Soft Edge Magnum cartridges use a curved needle arc — needles are arranged in a gentle bow rather than a flat row — which lets the grouping follow skin contour naturally instead of pushing against it. The result is softer blends, less blowout risk on large fills, and smoother gradients on colour work without having to change your hand pressure mid-pass. The Safety membrane runs passively in the housing, keeping ink from travelling back into the grip during long shading sessions. No sluggishness, no drag — just consistent needle return on every stroke. Also sold under the terms round magnum and curved magnum — same needle geometry, different naming by brand. If you've been using curved magnums from another manufacturer, these are the direct equivalent in the Cheyenne system.
