Steel walls come in many shapes and configurations. We recommend confirming the dimensions of your ribbed steel wall before selecting a Gator Basket. Ribbing depth, direction, and spacing can all impact how securely the basket attaches. Knowing your wall’s design ensures proper fit and function. Direction Matters Does your steel wall feature vertical or horizontal ribs? Is the surface large enough to accommodate the 2” x 3” Gator Hook? For best results, ensure at least 2” x 3” of flat surface area for the hook to grip securely. If possible, allow slightly more flat space for maximum strength. See example below: *If you rely on a vertical rib to hang the basket, the weight capacity may vary due to limited magnetic surface contact. Add items gradually to confirm secure attachment.
