<h2><strong>Baby Bales - Lucerne Hay </strong></h2> <p>This hay is rich in minerals and has a higher nutritional value than cereal straws.  It is a rich, nutritious source of roughage for herbivores and foragers. Like oaten hay it can be used to refresh pet bedding and:</p> <h3>Lucerne Hay Uses:</h3> <ul> <li>It will enrich the yellow colour of eggs.</li> <li>It is readily biodegradable which mulches down to add organic matter to your soil in pots, the veggie patch and garden beds.</li> <li>It is a nutrient dense mulch and encourages microbial and earthworm activity.</li> <li>It is a good source of protein (13-20%), vitamins A, K and E, riboflavin, pantothenic and nicotinic acid, all of which are important for growth.</li> </ul> <h3>Baby Bale Features:</h3> <p> </p> <p><span>These 'BABY' sized hay bales are a minimum of 2kg when bales (approx. 20L).  </span></p> <p><span>They are all grown, produced and packaged on farms in the Avon Valley.</span></p>
