For example, if your mantel is 6 feet wide, you'll need 12 feet of garland. This will allow you to hang your garland in a “scalloped” shape and still have a little hanging off each end.    • Around a porch column: Use twice as much garland as the height of the column.  • On a flat surface: When hanging garland in a straight line, measure the length of the line then multiply that by 1 PLUS add 2 feet of garland to hang off each end.    Garland Hanging Kit:  Kit comes with 2 damage free command hooks and 4 Velcro ties.  Garland is made using waterproof materials and is sprayed with a protective sealant to repel mild weather.
