Work trousers based on American work pants from the 1940s. The silhouette has a low rise and a straight line that falls straight down from the thighs. There is a button on the back of the waistband, suggesting styling with suspenders. The material used is a reproduction of the "TWEEDUROY" used in the 1930s sports jackets in Takahashi's collection. "TWEEDUROY" is a fabric made by printing corduroy to resemble wool tweed, and was mainly used for boys' clothes and school uniforms. It was probably developed because it was more durable than wool fabric. This unique fabric was produced by the Hockmeyer Company in Massachusetts, and over time was also used for adult clothing.
