I am an ‘Uchiwa’ Fan. If you’re a fan of mine, I’m a fan of yours.   Curator's Notes    The ‘Uchiwa” is a traditional hand-held fan. Usually rigid and circular, the fans were used to create a breeze during hot weather or during spiritual rituals. This version by Hender Scheme blends tradition with unique materials for a truly novel take on a classic Japanese accessory.
