In Liquid Brun French Avenue, the vanilla feels burnt and blunt, a hot syrup that flows and surges like high tide. It also smells tarry, with a tinge of cough syrup mixing with smoky cardamom. I found the orange flower note a bit monotonous, but it makes the passage to the vanilla core rather smooth.
