19th c. Handmade Rustic Drop Leaf Dining Table/Console c.1850-1890

ABOUT A primitive rustic farmhouse drop leaf dining table or console table with original casters. Possibly signed by the maker. The table is very sturdy.  CREATOR Unknown. DATE OF MANUFACTURE c.1880-1920. MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES Cherry. CONDITION Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Two corners have been repaired sometime in its lifetime. Very sturdy. DIMENSIONS H 30.75 in. W 46.5 in. D 36.75 in. (22.5 in. closed) Knee Clearance 24.75 in. HISTORY 20" wide plank on top indicates age. Trees harvested at this period grew larger than trees harvested now.
