The dial is manufactured in the UK using aluminium, which is anodised and dyed, imbuing the metal with an incredible depth of colour and a distinctive, almost holographic finish. Anodised aluminium is a rarity in watchmaking due to the difficulty in producing a uniform finish. The automatic watch is powered by the robust Seiko NH35A, modified to remove the ghost-date position. The movement is viewable through the optional display caseback.
