Astier de Villatte Kingston Incense

We are pleased to offer wonderful smelling incense from the Paris based design studio Astier de Villatte.  Inspired by travels around the world, Astier de Villatte incense is handmade in Japan by master craftspeople following traditional techniques on the island of Awaji. The inspiration:  A musical voyage into the fascinating world of Kingston, the legendary birthplace of Rastafarianism and Reggae.  From the alleys of Trench Town, the astonishing district features walls adorned with magnificent colored frescoes and message of peace, we stop at Tuff Gong Studios, a haven for Reggae stars.  Everywhere in the Jamaican capital hovers an enchanting and delicious scent of woody, earthy vetiver with a touch of patchouli and fresh green grapefruit. The fragrance: vetiver, patchouli and green grapefruit One box contains 125 sticks (30 minute burn time each).  Box measures 6" x 2.5" x .75".  Made in Japan.  Incense holders sold separately.
