Along with the fire labels this burglar fire safe also carries the U.L. Residential Security Container label. The rating means that it is secure enough to prevent most home burglary attempts. This safe uses a composite material (high-density concrete) to form both a fire and theft barrier, The doors are 2" thick, while the body is 3" thick. Also included is an independent re-locking system. This is a feature found on most jewelry store safes. The safe also has a U.L. Group II combination lock. The Gardall safe also has a three-spoke chrome-plated vault-like handle that controls the 1-1/4" chrome bolts that keep the safe secure. We have also added a center bolt anchoring system for ease of installation. There is also one adjustable shelf included with the Gardall FB-1212.
