The Bodice Cardigan

The Bodice Cardigan features a deconstructed Spencer c.1790. A Spencer is a term for a piece of clothing, generally a short jacket or coat which were popular all the way into the 19th century. The Bodice Cardigan not only honours the Spencer, it illustrates how a historical garment can be reimagined and made wearable, taking a piece of history and bringing it forward with modern techniques and craftsmanship.
