Circuit boards have multiple layers of copper and fiberglass. By carefully removing the top colored layer, the underlying copper is revealed. We polish it to a shine and enhance it with resin. Note about Copper + allergies: If you are not comfortable wearing copper earwires, we can switch them out for a hypoallergenic option: a copper-colored niobium fishhook wire. If you'd like this option, just leave a note in the text box at checkout. We use a computer controlled cutting machine to precisely cut the circuit board. Since we work with recycled circuit boards, every piece will be a little bit different.
