They may be compatible with IEMs with similar nozzle dimension. The design, size and weight of the IEM is not considered in producing the tips - this means that the tips may or may not work with some IEMs. Eartune FidelityEartune Fidelity tips are designed for one specific IEM. They are designed with the size and shape of the IEM in mind to make sure the IEM can be used with the tips - this can result in bulkier size. Eartune Fidelity tips are made based on the design of one specific IEM. Eartune Fidelity Mini tips are made based on user specified Core Diameter (CD) and Core Length (CL). While Eartune Fidelity tips are designed to work with the intended IEM 100%, Eartune Fidelity Mini tips may or may not work with the intended IEM - compatibility will depend on the weight, shape and wearing style of the IEM. Eartune Fidelity tips are only compatible with one IEM they are designed for. Eartune Fidelity Mini tips can be compatible with any IEM that share its CD and CL specification. How should I select the right Core Diameter and Core Length? Measure your IEM nozzle. If the nozzle diameter is 3mm, select 2.7mm Core Diameter. If the nozzle diameter is 4mm, select 3.7mm Core Diameter. If the nozzle diameter is 5mm, select 4.7mm Core Diameter. If the nozzle diameter is 6mm, select 5.7mm Core Diameter. If the nozzle diameter is 7mm, select 6.7mm Core Diameter. Nozzle length is same as Core Length. Can Eartune Fidelity Mini tips be made for oval nozzle shape? No. Eartune Fidelity Mini tips can only be made for round nozzle shape. Can Eartune Fidelity Mini tips be customized outside of designated Core Diameter and Core Length? No. No other custom options are available outside of color, Core Diameter and Core Length. Can Eartune Fidelity Mini tips be attached and removed by the user? Yes. It’s easy to install and remove by the user. What are Eartune Fidelity Mini tips made of? The Eartune Fidelity Mini tips are made with medical-grade silicone. Do Eartune Fidelity Mini tips rotate around the earphone nozzle? Yes, the Eartune Fidelity Mini tips are made based on diameter and length specified by the user. Therefore, it would rotate around the nozzle like a normal ear tips. Are the Eartune Fidelity Mini tips universal? Works with any IEM? No, the Eartune Fidelity Mini tips will not work universally, but it can work with IEMs with same / similar nozzle shape and size. How long will the Eartune Fidelity Mini tips last? The Eartune Fidelity Mini tips are made with medical grade silicone, which has a usable life of 5 years. However, many of our customers are on their 7th and 8th year of usage. How do I clean the Eartune Fidelity Mini tips? Gently rinse the Eartune Fidelity Mini tips with warm water and mild neutral soap. Then rinse with clean water and let dry completely before use. How should I carry the Eartune Fidelity Mini tips? Each pair of the Eartune Fidelity Mini tips come with a carrying case. When not in use, we recommend storing them away in the provided carrying case. Can the Eartune Fidelity Mini tips be exposed to water, air or light? Yes, there’s no problem exposing the Eartune Fidelity Mini tips to water, air or light. Please note, however, the Eartune Fidelity Mini tips do NOT make your IEM waterproof. No, the Eartune Fidelity Mini tips are made with medical grade silicone which will expand and contract minimally with different climate. Should I visit a hearing specialist before getting an ear impression or purchasing Eartune Fidelity Mini tips? Not necessarily. If you have a medical need pertaining to your ears, then see the appropriate doctor or specialist. Otherwise, you can make an appointment and the licensed individual will assess your ear canal during the impression appointment. My ears are itchy. what can I do? Itchy ears can mean multiple things. The first thing you want to do is to clean your Eartune Fidelity Mini tips with soap and water to ensure their cleanliness. Don’t use rubbing alcohol or harsh detergents as they can break down the silicone over time. My Eartune Fidelity Mini tips hurt my ear, what should I do? A little bit of soreness is normal in the first week of wearing the Eartune Fidelity tips. Your ear canal should get accustomed to them within a week. Tech-care Ear-gel is a water-soluble gel that is safe to use in the ear canal. It’s meant to help the custom tips slide into your ear canal easily. Not everyone needs it so try to insert the Eartune Fidelity Mini tips without it first and only use as needed. How should I use the Tech-care Ear-gel? Place a small amount of Tech-care Ear-gel around the tip (do not cover the sound bore) to help lubricate it for insertion. Will I need to use Tech-care Ear-gel every time?
