But if you’re curious about what sets infrared saunas apart, it’s all about how the heat is absorbed. Infrared saunas work by gently heating the body from the inside out, leading to a more intense sweat without the stifling air of a conventional sauna. Whether you’re aiming to relax, detox, or boost your recovery post-workout, infrared saunas provide a more comfortable experience for those who prefer lower heat but still want all the benefits of a deep, restorative sweat. For the best results, consistency is key. We recommend starting with 30-45 minute sessions, two to three times a week. Make sure to hydrate before and after to replenish lost fluids and maximize your detox. Before your appointment: Arrive at your appointment well-hydrated. As much as possible, don't drink caffeine and alcoholic beverages a few hours before your appointment. Do not eat a heavy meal before your appointment. Consume something light and nutritious instead.
