Luxor earrings - burgundy

Sometimes I name pieces after places we dream of going, like Egypt. These earrings feel like palm trees and pyramids but also have a bit of that goddess quality to them, so I went with my gut and named them after a city there. I know there are no pyramids in Luxor, but the name suits them. Plus, I do what I want. These stones are vary in size a little, as they are all hand cut. I originally thought these were a jasper or an agate, but on further research, they may actually be hand cut mosaic glass. Either way, they are a gorgeous earthy plum burgundy and are shiny but rough on the edges which gives them loads of character.  Measurements: Barely over 2" including the hook or just over 1.5" from the bottom of the hook.
