Solaire

The Solaire is a waist-length jacket built from full-grain, natural vegetable-tanned cowhide. It is lined in 100% cotton twill throughout the body in a muted sage green. The collar is a rounded stand style, drawing from mid-century campus jackets—structured but low-profile. The front features curved Western-style slash pockets and custom solid zinc donut buttons with a double-prong design. Construction is finished with French seams. The back is built from a two-piece vertical panel joined by a double-stitched French seam, topped with a Western-style scalloped yoke. Additional features include button-tab cuff closures, side buckle adjusters with brass hardware, and a reinforced waistband with clean topstitching along the hem. The leather is natural and unsealed; it will darken naturally with wear, developing a patina unique to the wearer over time. Each jacket is designed in Toronto and built in our own dedicated workshop in Pakistan. We oversee every step — from pattern drafting to leather selection to final inspection. Every jacket is individually photographed, measured, and quality-checked before leaving the shop. We produce in small batches using full-grain leathers, custom hardware, and offer complimentary custom sizing on all builds.
