Draw freehand or use a stencil - blot away excess a little goes a long way Remeber, only use a little bit! Heat it up with a hot air tool or heat gun. (1500 watts or more, 300F or more) Apply heat gradually, you can always add more heat. More heat = darker burn Make a mistake? Sand it away. Apply a finish to seal and pop the design (try Scorch Marker Finishing Oil) HEAT ACTIVATED The non-toxic chemicals in this marker are heat activated. To start, simply prep the surface with sandpaper, shake your marker, draw your design either with a stencil or free hand, heat with a heat gun or other heat source, and apply a wood finish to seal and protect your design. It might sound too good to be true, but it really is that simple. TRY IT WITH STENCILS These markers work amazing with vinyl stencils! It's easily our favorite way to use them.
