The BECK® 666 Northeaster Flying Togs is the distressed horsehide version of the Northeaster line — 1.3mm front quarter horsehide, aniline drum-dyed and tumbled for 60 minutes to produce a naturally broken-in surface from the factory. The drum-tumbling process works the leather fibers open without artificial surface coatings, producing the aged appearance and hand-feel of a jacket that has been ridden in for years, before the first mile.Front quarter horsehide at 1.3mm is the densest, most tightly-grained section of the hide — more wind-resistant and abrasion-resistant than cowhide at equivalent thickness.
