The Lip & Cheek stain embodies this minimal maximal philosophy. A versatile plant based stain for the lips and cheeks, not too pink, a little red wine-y a little black berry-y stain, and free of heavy metal (the bad kind). Deep Dive: Alkanet Root infused into sunflower oil gives this stain its rich color and earthy scent, and includes just a touch of Rose Geranium essential oil. Rose Geranium is the herby version of rose, and is a generous and gorgeous plant often found growing in the windowsills of the most powerful grandmamamas. HEADS (NOSES) UP: Some find the smell of the alkanet root too earthy for their tastes- alkanet has a flave akin to valerian root. Give Ruby Red a try for a similar hue but a citrusy scent!
