Flag of Bolivar State (Venezuela)

The flag of Bolívar State is a regional flag of the state of Bolívar in southeastern Venezuela. It features a yellow field charged with several horizontal blue stripes, over which is placed a large green circle at the center. Across the middle runs a horizontal blue band bearing a row of eight white five-pointed stars. The yellow color traditionally symbolizes the mineral wealth of the region, particularly gold, while the blue stripes and central band represent the state’s major rivers, especially the Orinoco, which has been central to Bolívar’s geography, economy, and historical development.
