The band has been using a combination of the Old Blue Overdrive and the Red Ryder Distortion on bass and guitar for the last couple of years. To commemorate the 25th anniversary of their record Something To Write Home About, Oneder has combined both circuits into one enclosure, tailoring the clipping sections to Rob and Jim’s specific tone onstage. The Old Blue side is a low to mid gain always-on overdrive that the band uses as their base tone, while the Red Ryder is a ratty, hard-clipping distortion, made even more versatile with its clean blend knob (sick on bass), for when the Kids kick things up a notch for leads and heavier sections.
