This is the Extreme Turbo Systems 3.0 Inch Front Mount Intercooler Core. Once you start performing any sort of modifications that increase your horsepower or your torque, then at some point it will be wise to upgrade to a front mount intercooler setup. Although your factory top mount intercooler is efficient until a certain power level, it can become heat soaked which can really hinder the performance of the rest of your modifications. The benefit of a front mount intercooler setup is that not only does it have larger area surface coverage, but because it is a front mount setup it is more efficient for cooling those intake charge temperatures. And cooler intake charge temperatures are essential on any turbocharged vehicle with goals making north of 400WHP. So for those of you running larger turbochargers or rotated turbocharger setups, this is a great option for you. Note that this is for the core only, and it will come in a silver finish with the black stencil.
