Marble Fern Fabric in Lake

Rebecca enjoys working with cut paper. The physicality of creating a shape out of a piece of paper, the way it makes the lines crisper, and the irreversibility of it are some of her favorite aspects of this method. There’s a bit you can’t control as you get going. She had the idea to create a leafy fern design by cutting long leaves out of the marbled papers. The softness of the marble against the graphic cut-out leaves creates a pattern within a pattern, a world within a world. With the large repeat, this design has a lot of movement and life. The arches are irregular, but much more structured than nature. This colorway is available while supplies last.
