Wrap Around Piano Hinges

Single Wrap Hinge Information Made in America! The single-wrap leaf is made to fit 3/4" plywood (or any lumber that measures 3/4"). Single-wrap piano hinges offer a stronger attachment because the wrap leaf attaches to the face of the plywood or lumber rather than the edge grain. The knuckle length is 1/2" and the screw holes are 2" apart center to center. There are 70 screw holes per hinge. This hinge is available in 48" lengths. If you need a longer hinge, you can install multiple hinges end to end with no loss of strength. The "mill" finish on these hinges has minor scratches and imperfections from the mill. We are not able to make cuts on this piano hinge, but it can be cut by the end user with a hacksaw. Screws not included: this hinge will work equally as well with either #5 or #6 flat head screws. #5 FH screws will fit more flush to the surface than #6 FH screws which will sit slightly proud of the surface. Full wrap piano hinges offer a stronger attachment because the wrap-around leaves (screws) install across the grain instead of into the edge grain effectively working like a surface mounted hinge. The knuckle length is 1/2" and the screw holes are 2" apart center to center. There are 94 screw holes per hinge. This hinge is available in 48" lengths.
