Each belt includes the Hardbody Lever – Patented Mechanism, a forged aluminium locking system engineered for a smoother, stronger, and more secure bracing experience. Forging compresses the aluminium for increased density and rigidity, resulting in a lightweight yet durable mechanism with excellent impact resistance. A centrally positioned ball-spring detent applies light retention, keeping the mechanism aligned while you position the belt and making tightening easier without adding early tension. Final Lock Stage – Rotate the lever past the over-centre point. This creates strong, even belt tension and a secure lock for bracing. The forged aluminium build and metal-on-metal interface provide a stable, consistent closing feel under load. To Release – Lift the lever to remove tension, then unhook the plate from the receiver. This system is engineered for stability, repeatable performance, and reduced wear over long-term use.
