Check out the LightRanger 1200 Or LightRanger 2000 Operating Instructions: Loosen the circular locking nut at the top of the legs At the bottom of the tripod, pull 1 leg free from the other two legs (there is a snap feature to keep the legs together while stored) Push the middle pole up and extend the tripod legs to desired width and tighten the circular locking nut. Extend the telescoping pole & lantern to desired height.
